Access to Information

The DWI provides a wealth of information on drinking water quality for England and Wales.  Most of the information requested is already publically available  through the website and published reports.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 provides the public with a general right of access to information held by public authorities. Water Companies are themselves obliged to comply with the Environmental Information Regulations.
