Call for Expressions of Interest
The call for Expressions of Interest in the Drinking Water Quality and Health Evidence Programme is now open. The competition pack CTX1112 (500 KB) containing full details is also advertised on the Defra Science web pages , where there is a competition e-mail notification service available if you wish to be notified as new competitions are advertised.
The study areas for expressions of interest are :
National assessment of risks to water supplies posed by low taste and odour threshold compounds (DWI 70/2/281);
Assessing the contribution of water meter installation and similar activities to lead exposure (DWI 70/2/282);
A desk study on risks to water supplies from personal care products (PCPs) and domestic cleaning products. (DWI 70/2/283);
An analysis of water company raw water monitoring data for 2009-2011 (DWI 70/2/284);
A critical appraisal of existing guidance on on-line monitor performance against monitor performance data (DWI 70/2/285);
Refined assessment of the likelihood of selected veterinary medicines reaching drinking water (DWI 70/2/286).
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 24 February 2012.
